In 1979, Cottonwood Electric Cart Service was started by brothers Armando and Angel Salazar in El Cajon, Ca. The Salazar brothers felt there was a wide variety of private and commercial applications that would benefit from the use of small utility vehicles. Cottonwood Electric has be credited for many of today’s golf car innovations including the utility cargo box, suspension lift kit, and the implementation of modern day solid state controllers.

Cottonwood Electric Cart Service has grown throughout the last 30 years and provides service to all private, commercial, industrial, municipal, federal, and Military. We continue to stay close to our roots and continuosly evolve using the latest and greatest technologies and products available.

Since 1979, Cottonwood Electric Cart Service has provided San Diego County with the highest quality new & used vehicles, service, repairs, parts and rentals. Cottonwood Electric Cart Service proudly sells only “American Built Vehicles” and is San Diego’s official E-Z-GO, Columbia, & American Sportworks dealership. We provide sales and service to individual customers, commercial accounts, public and private industry.
